Principal’s Message

Dear Parent/ Guardian,

Pranams! “Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in men” – Swami Vivekananda rightly quoted in a very holistic perfective. In tandem with this, the recent view about pre –school and school education advocates that we have not to teach the child, but we have to simply facilitate the child in bringing out her/ his hidden talent and blossoming her/ him smoothly . The child must be provided a conductive carefree atmosphere to retain  her/ his playfulness without any burden of text books and fear of examination on his body, mind and intellect. S/he should be allowed to express her/his inner self through playful activities of colouring, sketching, singing, dancing and skipping effortlessly. Through these activities, the child learns how to  feel oneness with nature, interacts with her/ his peer group and elders, imbibes good habits and values in an enjoyable manner without any conscious effort and sharpens her/ his intellect.

The sole aim of education is not only familiarization of letters or making a child proficient in 3 R’s . In fact along with the knowledge of different subjects, it is important to develop her/ him as a productive citizen of a country with rich “Indian Values “. Only this way ,s/he turns out to be an asset for a nation. Foundation of values ( Samskars ) and their cultivation begin right from the childhood. It is rightly said by Lao –Tze :  “Watch your thoughts, they become words; Watch your words, they become actions; Watch your actions, they become habits; Watch your habits, they become your character; and Watch your character, it become your destiny.”

Keeping this age old noble view of development of a child’s personality ( as a vision ),this school was started in the year 2000 in the memory of dear Sucheta ,who died in a cruel road accident on Geeta Jayanti in 1983. It is still in its childhood, yet the essence of Sucheta, an ever alert, ever alive, ever rapturous child, guides the management and staff to make all efforts to instill these noble thoughts and qualities in the children who step into the threshold of this temple of learning. Hence our motto:

Sturdy  Body                      (in…..hindi)             B

Rapturous Mind                    (in hindi)              M

Sharp  Intellect    (in Hindi)        I

can be practically realized only in a stress-free environment in the school with sustained positive participation of the parents. The various prayers, shlokas and mantras, which should be inseparable part of child’s routine, have been given here in this diary ( OUR BAAT-CHEET).  As the child could recite and contemplate on these great treasures, their meanings have also been given here. Through this OUR BAAT –CHEET , I sincerely solicit your active co –operation in this noble task of facilitating our child to blossom naturally in a congenial environment of the school as well as of the home.

Through this diary if we could develop ‘ideal’ children, I hope our efforts shall be be assumed successful. With thanks and warm regards,

                                                                                                                                    The Principal

This world is the great gymnasium where we come to make ourselves strong”.
